It consist in a delay unit followed by a 2nd order lowpass filter with saturation. The delay-time can evolve between 0 and max-delay which lets you be very accurate. You can also synchronise the delay to the tempo with different resolutions from 1/128 to 1 bar and control the way the delay-time is interpolated with the kind of interpolation and the time-constant.
AnalogDelay is now Donationware i.e. you are free to decide yourself how much you want to pay for it, and when. The plugin is fully working but displays a nag screen when you (re)open the GUI.

Bachelard features a delay module with a filter section and a reverb module with a second filter section. Many parameters can be controlled with key tracking. The effect also features 3 LFOs and a modulation matrix. The 3 LFOs have 5 different waveforms to choose from and 3 different ways to control the oscillator speed. They also have a trigger function controlled by MIDI note commands. Parameters that feature key tracking can also be assigned to different MIDI channels for extra flexibility.
Features:
Delay featuring, free, sync to host and key tracking (KTr) controlled rate.
Delay feedback also features a KTr switch.
Reverb parameters, size, width, damp and mix.
Reverb size and mix controls also have KTr switches.
Both effects have identical filters, 2 self oscillating SVs.
The cutoff on the filters can also be set to KTr.
3 identical LFOs with free, sync to host and KTr rate control.
Each LFO can be assigned in the modulation matrix to several destinations: delay rate, feedback, cutoff and resonance, reverb size, width, damp, mix, cutoff and resonance. |

Bouncer is a small plugin designed to create bouncing style delay effects, as made famous by Aphex Twin. The interesting feature about this version of the bouncing delay is that patch changes can be automated without disrupting the delay buffer. In practice, this means the patch can be changed on each beat without getting any horrible artifacts or disrupting the current bouncing effect.
Bouncer was created for the 2007 Kvr Developer Challenge. |

The Classic Delay emulates three of the most commonly used delays / echo sounds types: Tape, Analog, and Digital, but without the introduction of noise. A quality control is included where the sound of the echo machine can be adjusted to give the preferred amount of “imperfection”. The delay can be synchronised to the host, and the feedback can be reversed to give a ping-pong effect. |

Cold Digital Delay is a stereo experimental/psychedelic delay effect featuring four types of unique delays.
1. Glitch is based on a random delay system controlled by an internal BPM pulse. Great for adding a light glitch element to drums and other sounds.
2. Wave is designed around a delay feeding into a HPF controlled by the synced LFO.
3. Hollow is essentially two delays. The first repeats the dry signal once while the other creates an echo that is then fed through a HPF.
4. Freqk is a delay using the effect's LFO to control (in conjunction with it's knob control) the delay time of the effect. This causes a very unique delay effect that changes the pitch and speed of the wet signal. Freqk also has it's own control to determine whether the effect with have smooth or chopped transitions. Highly recommended on plucked instruments.
Note: Feedback control does not work on the Glitch effect. Delay control does not work on the Wave effect.

SoundHack Delay Trio is a group of three plugins derived from the same basic delay algorithm: a hermite interpolated delay line with variable modulation, and a feedback loop with dc blocking and saturation. Pitch shifting is achieved with a dual head crossfading delay (ala Eltro Tempophon/Dennis Gabor/Pierre Schaeffer phonogene) and is decidedly low-fi. The saturating feedback also allows them to be great drone and noise generators.
The three plugins are +delay (classic delay effects), +pitchdelay, (essentially the same plugin with controls oriented toward pitch shifting), and finally +bubbler (a granular delay in which grains are pulled from the delay line with randomized start time, delay time and pitch shift value).
Windows is in VST and RTAS formats, Mac is in VST, RTAS and AU formats, all are freeware. |

GDuckDly is a digital delay that allows the wet signal to be compressed by the dry signal.
Using high levels of feedback in a digital delay can create a busy sound. This can obscure the original, dry signal. In particular, it can make vocal tracks incomprehensible.
The compression in GDuckDly is configured so that the effect is turned down when the dry signal sounds. When the dry signal is quiet the effect is turned back up. This allows the dry signal to be heard over even extreme delay effects. |

Metal Mickey is a sequenced, synced delay unit.
An 8 step sequencer drives the delay time. This is the matrix of red LEDs at the top. The delays are synced to host tempo. Changing the matrix values changes delay time for the given sequencer step.
A second sequencer, running at the same speed, controls the delay feedback. This is the row of 8 sliders underneath the Delay time matrix.
The sequencer has a number of features… random stepping, mulitplication and division of speed, adjustable slide (from one value to the next) and a an adjustable loop point.
The higher delay times can be tuned using the Tuning slider.
The wet signal then passes through a multimode filter, a low pass filter and a high pass filter (this allows you to really ’shape’ the delay line).
Finally the dry and wet signal can be mixed as required.
There are also 2 dedicated LFOs. |

"First of all I wanted to have a delay effect that gave me more control over it's behaviour than those I had available or could afford. Hence I had to create it myself.
Here are some reasons among many others:
* Usual delay plugins sport 2 delay lines (stereo), MFM has 4 delay lines.
* Each delay line's output can be fed back to itself and into each other. Hence there is a 4x4 feedback matrix.
* Since my good old Ensoniq DP4 is broken I miss the feature of feedback from subsequent effects. MFM therefor has filters that can either process the input of a delayline or it's feedback.
* Usually you have to care about feedback amounts. Otherwise you end up with horribly high volume levels and distortion. So I put a limiter/compressor/saturator in each delay line. Endless feedback? - No problem.
* So we have filters and several parameters. Why not modulate them? That's why MFM has got 2 LFOs and a step sequencer on board. All syncable to your song."

Narcissus + Echo is an FSU-style delay plug-in.
Unless you load the preset bank (manually, through your host, it won't load on itself by default) it'll probably just feed back and scream at you.
Narcissus + Echo is complexly modulated by the audio that is input into it, as well as modulating various parts of itself. There are many unseen bits of kit under the hood that you can't control, they're just hard-wired. I figured that way there'd be some chance of making it make good sounds without carefully testing a billion possibilities amongst the interelated parameters.
Possible sounds include sea-sickness chorus, long, modulated dub delays, hissing sounds, short, bouncing ball-type echoes, vurt is a hippie, and swirling walls of psychedellic madness.
Narcissus + Echo is constructed upon 3 main signal pathways, each output of which has it's own mix level controller.
Narcissus + Echo is constructed upon 3 main signal pathways, each output of which has it's own mix level controller.
Path A is the main delay line. It has up to 1500 ms of delay. That delay time, as well as it's feedback, can be modulated by either the LFO, the ADSR, the Envelope Follower or the Zero-Crossing Detector. The settings for these features do not have controls. The LFO's pulse width, frequency and offset parameters are themselves modulated by the other three modulators. The Envelope Follower converts the incoming audio's amplitude into a control voltage. The Zero-Crossing Detector outputs a control voltage every time the incoming audio crosses the zero point of the wave, therefore more complex sounds (such as woodwind multiphonics, raspier singing or cybals) created a higher modulation level.
The way these four Modulators are routed within Narcissus + Echo is complex and everything is interrelated. Change the settings on one thing and it may have an effect on other parameters elsewhere for which there are no GUI controls.
Narcissus + Echo is also highly dependent upon what audio is coming into it. Try different (or everchanging) volume levels. Test what a patch will do to sparse, stacatto audio or low, complex, droning audio. What will occur is just as dependent upon the audio as it is upon how the viewable control parameters are set. It's an FSU so experiment.
Load the presets that come with the plug manually as it won't load a bank by default.
The .dll and other little data file need to be in the same folder.
I named presets after some fsu-lovin' folks just for fun. Don't blame them for the hideous noises that it makes. Finally, thanks to Opia for hosting the archive so that people can download it.
Have fun,
- runagate |

This VST plugin is a tool more than anything else. It allows you to delay the audio, report audio delay to host, and have slave plugins that can be remoted by a Master.
So if you have some kind of trouble with audiodelay (hardware synth, no PDC support in host, recording issues, plugin dont report delay... etc), then this plugin is made for you.

A fairly simple delay plugin which also has a 'Rhythmic Mode'. Basically this alters the delay time in a sequence using very short delay times, which gives a characteristic 'metallic' sound, and effectively allows you to turn previously un-pitched sounds (such as a drum loop), into pitched sequences. Also syncs to the host's tempo, although it should be noted that some older hosts do not support this feature of the VST specification. |

The Sanford Delay is a VST stereo delay effect. It's an easy to use delay that gets the job done quickly and efficiently. It features a filter in the feedback path that lets you dampen the feedback over time, giving the delay a natural sound. It also allows you to pan the feedback across the stereo spectrum creating the classic "ping-pong" effect. Overall, its main quality is simplicity. If you need a straightforward delay that doesn't overwhelm you with bells and whistles, this is the one for you.
Key Features
Low CPU usage.
Up to 1 second of delay.
Independent left/right delay times.
Pan delay for creating a "ping-pong" effect.
Delay times can be synchronized to tempo.
Feedback can be fed through a lowpass or highpass filter. |

My goal for this project was to create a real-time audio processing tool that would combine the use of filters and delay lines. The idea was to split the audio signal into ten different "channels" in the frequency domain, which could then be further manipulated by other audio processing. Each channel would be processed and controlled individually through the setting of the different process parameters. I also intended on making the code for the different processes as modular as possible, so that the order of processing could be changed. |

A pair of simple, utilitarian delay.
The only difference between the two is that Squid-Delay goes up to 1000 ms (1 sec) of delay, while Squid-Delay Mini, as the name implies, only goes to 100 ms, affording better control in the sub-20 ms range that is useful for creating delay-based stereo positioning effects.
NOTE: Reqires Pluggo Runtime. |

Stereo-Delay is a plugIn for the creation of delay- and echo-effects. It provides two independent delay-lines for the left and the right channel. The delaylines have a feedback-loop with highpass- and lowpass-filter and can also interact via crossfeedback. The delay-times are not specified in seconds or milliseconds, but musically as a note-value. |

After the success of TAL-Dub, we decided to release TAL-DUB-II, an extended version with a completely new sound engine. A 4x oversampled distortion stage allows to add vintage distortion to the delayd signal, but its also possible to make clean delays.
A sinus LFO has the possibility to modulate delay time and low pass filter cutoff. Adjustable LFO stereo width is also included.
An analog sounding 6dB low pass filter with resonance and a 3dB high cut filter are also parts of TAL-DUB-II. Different routing options open a wide range of possibilities.
* Synced delay times (1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1/1, 2/1 and trippled and dotted notes).
* 4x oversampled distortion stage.
* VU-Meter shows gain reduction.
* LFO (low pass cutoff and delay modulation, stereo width).
* 6dB resonance low pass filter.
* 3dB high pass filter.
* Midi learn for all pots.
* 20 factory presets.
* Documentation.

This plug-in is a "packed-with-features" delay module based on tempo, incorporating EQ and tremolo sections with separate controls for each output channel. Instead of a single "length" control this plug-in implements two separate "delay" and "length" controls which allows you to create evenly sounding "ping-pong" echoes. |

Do you want to play your guitar or other picked instrument with a lot of echo, but not sound like you're lost down a long hallway? thresholdDelay silences the delay from previous notes when a new note goes over the threshold volume.
Good for interesting effects, and no buildup of echoes that can sound 'swampy'. ;) |

A tempo synced delay that with filtering and ducking.
The Signal is filtered with a flexible and resonant 24dB lowpass filter, then delayed and fed back. With the additional Ducking the dry/wet is regulated so that either the dry or the delayed signal is returned as result, based on wether there is an input signal or not.

Tom Pong is a ping pong delay VST Plugin. A ping pong delay is a delay which alternates from one speaker to another. If the balance is set to 0.5, a stereo signal will invert itself each time the delay buffer is played back. If the balance is set to either side of 0.5, the signal bounces back and forth between the speakers. Tom Pong can be synced to the host sequencer, or delay times can be set by sample count. Feedback and output level are also adjustable. |

Twin Delay is a VST plugin designed for emulation of digital and analogue delay effects. The program is not an exact copy of already existing hardware-based equipment, nevertheless it can be used for producing a majority of popular effects, as well as some modulation and 'unusual' effects, for instance Flanger, Metallizer. Special attention have been given to analogue delay algorithms, that make it possible to create beautiful and original sounds, frequently used in such genres as IDM, Experimental, Breaks and especially Dub, as well as genres that use Dub elements: Dub techno, Dubstep, Dubwise and so on.
In installation package included English and Russian manuals.
Main features of the Twin Delay are:
- Digital algorithm and 3 original tape algorithms
- Channel Delay
- 3 types of sync: auto, ms and manual bpm
- Cross feedback function for ping-pong delay algorithms
- Mono/stereo smooth function
- HP and LP filters with tube drive emulation
- Programmed with Delphi and Assembler
- 65+ presets
Twin Delay is donation ware.
You can freely download and use it. We accept donation as payment for it. You can evaluate plug-in and pay as much, as you think it costs. |

Waterfall has 4 channels, each with its own filter, LFO and delay. The cut-off of all filters can be modulated by the LFO.
The GUI is divided into three sections: On the top left there are basic controls for input/output levels and the stereo expander. The bottom left controls set the level of all channels. The four horizontal strips on the right are the four effect channels. The effects applied to each channel are mixed in the final output. |
