BETA PERIOD SOON OVER!
So what is Borbifier? To put it simple it let's you locate the sounds that you want to have in your borb, it let's you randomize each sound on it's own or all parameters of that kind just on the fly, yes you can randomize everything as well as the picture shows. Finally it writes the borb, copying the assigned sounds and the installer files.+ the image straight to your destination folder.
Here is an image of it in use:
Release is out, here you go:

| I think so to, just some minor bugs to sort out. I'm looking into having the program play the files when you select them in the filedialog as well as have a play button beside all sound lines. I've been able to play wav files but ogg is anothe cent. |

What library are you using for the audio? |

I'm working in Delphi7, and I'm using the JEDI JCL / JVCL component packs and from it their waveplayer. I have the AudioLab components installed but I can't afford to purchase the full package for commercial use so I don't use it.
So I made the first alpha test, created a borb and what can I say. This creates everything that you need, even makes the installer work! All you need to do is to supply the installer. Might as well embed it inside the program but then the program size will go up another megabyte or so, and I dunno if I have the right to do so from the author of it. |

Ah, cool. I've never used Delphi before...I thought maybe I'd be able to help you get .ogg playback working, but I've never used Pascal before, so I won't be much help...

Yeah, do whatever you want with the borb installer...it's freely redistributable. |

Ok news comming in.
* You can now randomize each sounds on it's own.
* Playback is started to be implemented so you can play each sound to easier figure out what to use it for.
* All sounds will be copied to the destination directory where the installer will be unpacked as well.
* LED's indicate whether the file exists or not, and as long as there is missing files you cannot save the borb.
* Nice splash screen created. |

| Sounds great, can hardly wait to test this program out when it's ready. I noticed though that in your screenshot, one of the "intensity" buttons is somewhat misaligned compared to the others. |

Fixed straight afterward I posted the picture. Sorry.
* The left LEDs indicateif a file is missing.
* Installer is embedded and extracts properly.
* Had some directory issues with files not created where they should be, fixed.
* Sounds are now copied to the destination's Audio folder. At least one does, willl enable the rest tomorrow.
* A stop button has been added that stops the playback.
* The randomize button has been moved, resized and renamed to Rnd to make room for new buttons.
* A new button Cl. all deletes every setting such as sound files, happyness etc etc.
Will most likely have a BETA out on wednsday. |
